Why is my starter sticking on when my truck is running?

My starter is sticking on after i start my truck and its burning up the starter, the wire to the cylinoid is staying hot and keeping the starter kicked out and its burning them up, how do i get it to go back in after its started?

sounds like a bad solenoid somewhere, weather its the one inside the fender, or on the starter itself, i don't know, that parts up to you, but you can also drop the starter, and test it at autozone for free
