Question remand long block

I'm going to order a remand long block and new injectors when i get my tax refund. I'm getting an injector kit from Pensacola diesel and I'm thinking of getting the long block from blackwater engines. has anyone ever purchased a long block from them? here is a link to their page if you want to look Blackwater Engines - Remanufactured Ford, International, Navistar, - 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel. i found a good price on the injector kit comes with stock remand injectors, UVCWH, valve cover gaskets and glow plugs for $1,200 check it out Pensacola Fuel Injection | Worlds #1 Diesel Rebuilder - FORD POWERSTROKE 7.3L :: INJECTORS 7.3L :: 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Superkit If anyone has any info on blackwater engines or another place i can get one for around the same price please let me know.

So, did you go with a Blackwater rebuild? Just curious if they were easy to deal with.
Thanks,

Stay away from Pencicola Diesel injectors. Just do a search and you will see all the unhappy people that bought from them. They do not flow test their rebuilds, and their rebuild are built using old parts. I know of a person who bought from them and had to send his supposed "rebuilds" from Pensicola to another shop to have them rebuilt. Also, I just posted on another person's thread about why I find Blackwater suspect. They charge for things that come on a stock 7.3 PS like Stellite valves, and forged rods. PMR's should never be used in a rebuild. Ford won't even use PMR's in their rebuilds. Also, they say they use Johnson lifters when Johnson Hylift, from what I have read, has gone out of business. I also tried caling the comapny that bought out Johnson Hylift and they said the lifters were not availible. The man who was managing Hylift under the new company sold units and machines under the table and ended up running the company into the ground. I will say that every person who I have talked to about Blackwater seems to have a positive opinion about them. I just don't like how they are trying to charge for stock parts. I just have two words of advice, stay away from Pensicola Diesel, and stay FAR away from Jasper.
