Rough idle, weird fuel pump noise

Just picked up another superduty . its a 2001 auto trans. has 200K on the clock... It has a slightly rough idle, when you slowly rev the motor up its a bit rough till it hits about 1700-2000k rpm. But when cruiseing down the road its not noticable at all . The fuel pump on the frame under the driver seat has a wierd noise to it. Could this be the problem. Tried a new fuel filter. No change. Ran some lucas injector cleaner through, No change. Any ideas. Kodi
