idle problem

Hey guys my idle problem is back. You can hear the motor going up and down a bit, almost as if you are barely tapping the pedal. The tach will more just a little bit. What could this be? Only thing I think of is sticking ipr but im not a mechanic. Any ideas?

Have you pulled the chip and tried it out?

No It doesnt do it all the time its only on occasion. I can try next time it does it

I know it sounds crazy but check the fuel pedel

Idle seems to be getting worse. It drives fine or the problem is unnoticeable but once you put it back in park you can hear the motor get choppy. What should I check first? I am lost

I would probably just post it up in the general 7.3 forum, but that is just me. This place doesn't get the traffic...

Well thanks for the offer I will see what I can find. I was thinking of cleaning the ipr now that its warming up finally and going from there. What else do you suggest?
