Noisy Fuel Pump
My fuel pump sounds louder than I remember,7 months in storage, and seems to be running all the time. Is the noise a indicator that I need a new pump or some other problem? Should the pump run all the time?
Thanks for the help |

I don't mean to question your diagnosis, but are you sure it's the fuel pump (the vac pump is pretty noisy)
You don't list the yr of your truck, but look on the frame rail under the drivers seat and put your hand on it to be sure it's the pump making the noise

Noisy Fuel Pump
Thanks for the reply. Checked it again it is definitely the fuel pump. Didn't think the fuel pump should run all the time.
