Unhappy Fuel filter leaking

I changed my fuel filter a week ago on my 99 and now its leaking fuel from the drain tube when running. I made sure I closed the drain lever when I originally replaced the filter, and checked it again to make sure it was closed.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm still new but, am glad to be a part of the forum, so let me know if I posted right. Thanks.

Thanks countryraised and 7.3lifted. Hate to sound like a geek, but this forum is cool as s... I recently bought the truck and I've used many of the threads on here to fix a lot of the common maintenance problems with the PS. Thanks again to everyone for a great forum.
