Ran Rough, Shifted hard, loss of power, now wont start

I was out messing around in the water/ mud the other day with some friends and Out of no where my truck started to idle like it was running on half its cylinders and I had no power it felt like. Maybe felt like it was not getting fuel. drove it home ran like *** had my foot to the floor the whole time and had to let off the pedal for it to shift.. I got it home turned it off and now wont start back up just cranks over but wont fire up. ALSO THERES NO SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE EXHAUST Please help.

Its a 00 7.3 auto trans 170k miles bone stock

Ive been reading on the forums a lot the past few days just reading on what I can do and learning some of the code names you have for things like cps and blahh blahh blahh..

Ive took off drivers side valve cover to look at the UVCH and that seems to be fine I still have not got to the passengers side as of yet, Ive looked at the oil and thats fine good level and clean, took off fuel filter and its not bad some junk at bottom of bowl, fuel pump is working fine fills bowl right up no problems, HPOP is good has oil to right about 1/2 inch to the top, fuses are all good looked at them about 3 times over, Relays seem to be good I even switched them around, batteries are like 4 months old, and I might be forgetting a few things.

It seems like a lot of people have this problem with there 7.3's

Please Help Me Out I want to drive the truck and Cant because of something dumb I bet

you probably soaked your injector computer its behind the driver fender tucked up in there if you have a friend with a 7.3 swap em out and see if thats you problem or try to clean the terminals and di electric grease it

i pulled that out today and Everything looked to be fine wires and connection was very clean..
Im stumped here and very confused. There was junk on the bottom of the bowl i cleaned out. Im low on fuel would this make a problem?

if you have no diesel it wont run lol it will sputter and knock like crazy till it finally quits my truck will run out at just under a quarter tank did you swap out the injector computers it dont mater if the plug is clean or not ive seen em just go out

ok ill put some gas in tomorrow but I can only do 5 gal at a time!
also i never did swap them out. I did get a new CPS today and it did nothing for me....

Could it be the IPR?

get some diesel in it 5 gallons should do it you dont need to fill it up and if that dont work swap out the computer up under the fender should do the trick

Also my block heater does not work the best I can leave it pluged in for about 6 hours and its not near what my other one is at for temp pluged in for a hour
