I have a F350 7.3L diesel and had problems with starting when temp is below 40 degrees. I checked relay and I could feel and hear it click in. No voltage on gp side. Replaced relay and truck started fine. I monitored the voltage on gp side and it stayed on after the engine was running. I checked it for about 15 seconds. How long should the relay stay on?
