White smoke on start up
New batteries and a new larger alternator, just noticed when I start my truck while it's cold there's a decent cloud of white smoke coming out my tail pipe, didn't do it last winter.
It's prolly something simple, but what? |

you may have a weak cylinder or might be just a weak glowplug, or could be low fuel pressure, could be any number of things. what engine do you have and milage and other pertant information. this will help use give you ideas what it could be.

its not hard to start or anything, i give the plugs plenty of time to warm up well after the wait to start light goes off

wait...white smoke is a bad thing even when it's cold? when i start my truck and it's cold it rolls out white smoke like a freight train for about 15sec. and then it quits..i thought that was normal??
