7.3L Question
So, a buddy of mine has a 2000 7.3L with like 40,000 miles... driving truck and truck died. Failed to restart and is throwing these codes:
P1293 High Side Open Bank No. 1 (RH) P1294 High Side Open No. 2 (LH What does this mean? Whats needed to fix it? Any thoughts? Im not a 7.3L guy at all so Im clueless... thanks in advance, Pigg |

Had a similar problem when I replaced an injector on #7, it showed open high / low on #7 . after putting it back together I had open right bank. Found that the wiring harness plug came undone under the rocker cover. The rocker gasket is part of the wiring harness so you may have to remove the rocker covers if you do not find the connector loose on the outside of the rockers.

I agree. Pull the valve covers. I'd start with the driver's side. It is easier to get off and is the side that comes unplugged most often. Keep us posted!
