exaust back pressure valve, need some help
Hey guys, i just replaced the up pipes on my truck because they were leaking, while i had it all apart i resealed the pedastle, when i put it back on the pedastle arm would not reach the valve and i had to screw it out 5-6 turns to make it reach, so number 1, is this going to hurt anything and number 2, if it is how do i properly adjust it? thanks

I just did up pipes also, and when there I rebuilt the EBPV pedistal with Guzzle's kit. I followed these instructions from his web site, and had to wrestle some with the arm to attach. Sorry I can't help if it will be a problem with how you have it now.

I tilted the turbo onto it BEFORE setting the turbo, worked great...not sure what it does mechanically to unscrew the arm it to fit, but I would think there is a reason it works that way..
