Several 7.3 issues (starting, AC)

I have several problems with my 2000 7.3. First off starting has been a little bit of an issue. It will start with no problems but will shut off within a couple of seconds. This will happen several times and then the truck runs great. I changed the fuel filter and also all new glow plugs within the last couple of months.

The second issue is the A/C compressor engages and disengages when the heat is on no matter if it is in defrost or vent. Any ideas?

I have the same problem starting my 2000 7.3 Starts right up but stalls immediately. I have to hold the throttle down about half way to get it to run and then it runs great. ??????

The starting issue: What temps does this occur? First start up or any time? And just curious, last oil change?

AC: The clutches have worn down so much, that they try to engage, then can't stay there. Just remove a clutch shim on the inside and it'll be great. Does it do this just in defrost or vent or anytime?
