p1670 code help??

alright guys i have a 01 excursion that currently has a p1670 code, i need some help on figuring this one out, i have been through 5 idm brandnew, this is the 6th one and its just went bad i guess...what else could be causes the idm to keep failing?? this time i only drove it 20 miles and after i shut the truck off it would not start again.. i have looked at numerous of threads about the 1670 code and just cant seem to figure this out,
