Need some help

Well Thanks in advance to all that help... With in the past few days my truck has started to hake this loud humm after 4 lbs of pressure is built up... this may not be a good descreption but any ideas oh and its under normal driving and if i get on it its just louder... may it be the boots for the intercooler? or anyother ideas?

other than the humming is it running fine? is there any hesitation when you push the gas? and is there any smoke? first thing i would do is pull the air cleaner tube off the turbo ans check the shaft on the turbo see if there is any play in it up and down. your turbo could be failing, wastegate could be stuck closed. if its more of a howl than a hum it could be your fan clutch

Yeah it runs fine but little boost numbers ill check the shaft play in a few I also think that one of the boost boots might be the problem ill tak pics and all..

Well pulled off my IC boots and my airintake off and i didnt find any turbo shaft play or any holes on the drivers side off the truck so now what? i did the foil delete while i was there...

Well here i am again.... I took it for a ride still not building pressure over 7 lbs and makes the noise still I think I pin pointed it in the area of the turbo might it be going out?

With the inlet pipe off the turbo start the truck and see if the turbo is spinning freely have someone throttle it up while you watch the turbo. also check the y pipe feeding the exhaust into the turbo if you have a big enough exhaust leak it can cause low boost. if no leak and still no boost it looks like time for a new turbo. you could have it rebuilt idk i there is a turbo shop in Roswell but Carlsbad or Hobbs should have one.
