Exhaust backpressure code
Just checked codes on my new to me truck.
Had 2 codes 1 was exhaust backpressure high 2 was exhaust pressure sensor circuit failure Looked at the exhaust backpressure sensor data live with engine running and it was 4.9 volts and showing 52 lb pressure!! We all know that couldnt be true with the engine running. Where is this sensor located? It does not set an ses light. How might this sensor reading effect my mpg and driveability? If it is not affecting anything am I correct in assuming that I dont have to be worried about replacing it anytime soon?? Thanks for the help!!! |
