Leaking diesel @ fitting under motor

Just like the title says, my truck is leaking diesel at the fuel line under the motor, right under the front of the oil cooler. It has those "speed connects" fuel line connectors, and I've never had good luck with them. Whats the best tool to use to get them off? Is there an O ring in the line that I can replace? You can watch it come out of the fitting, so I know it isn't the line itself.

I know I need the special fuel line tools, I've just never had good luck with them. Seems the metal ones are always too big, and the plastic ones never work right for me.
