Question Newbie about Diesels

I'm thinking about buying a 2003 F-250 Super cab Lariat 7.3L 4x4(FX4). Has 188,000 and a small oil drip (about the size of a 50 cent piece after parking but doesn't get any bigger), is this something that I need to be worried about or common? Are there any common problems with them that i should be concerned with? One more - does $13000 sound like a good price? Does to me!

The oil drip is common on 7.3s. 13k isnt an unreasonable price as long as it is in good condition. Where are you located?

Sounds expensive to me. Should be around $10k, unless that thing has every option and not a scratch on it.

I would try to haggle them down some and see what the best they will take is. I'm in knoxville also so if you want a second opinion on it, I don't care to take a look at it.
