Remove the IPR, there is an edge filter in there. Is that what you mean?

well he did post on the 99-03 7.3 forum, but you're right, people would get more help if they's tell us what they got.

just curious how difficult is it to remove that edge filter behind the IPR ? and can you clean it and reinstall or will it need to be replaced ? not sure it this is what he is asking about but it would be good info to have.

hpop filter

is there a filter screen at the ipr and in the bottom of the hpop? truck keeps pulling p1211 code and ford can't figure it out so i'm trying to get info on all possible things so i can find it myself.

have earlier post "pulling a hill " or pretty much all threads by "The Bus" that explains everything, ( truck info, problems, whats been done, ect.)

I was just reading an old thread and it said the 99-03 IPR does not have the edge filter, it is only found on the earlier trucks 95-98. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will show up.
