injector question

cel comes on when pulling hill under load, p1211, ford engineer says i could have an injector with a internal oil leak and it could be checked by unplugging one injector at a time. does anyone know this to be true?

Could also be fuel pressure issue. Check fuel pressure at fuel pump outlet under a load. If pressure drops down below 45 psi then you have a restriction in the fuel tank sending unit. I've had 6 trucks in the last 4 months with this issue and the 1211 code and they were all fuel pressure issues.

it's got a new fuel pump that puts out 50 at the pump and 45 &46 at the heads but this is under no load. i think i'll go ahead and order a filter upgrade kit to put in there while i'm there and iv'e also been waiting for another excuse to do the changes to the filler lines so it does'nt take 10min. to fuel all the way full.
