Exclamation HELP!!! DTC CODES

hey guys, posted a problem i had a few months ago, and still haven't solved the problem. i have changed both batteries, changed my starter, and changed injectors. also i have changed exhaust backpressure sensor and tube. the original problem still exists. if i let her sit for more than 4-6 hours, i cant get it started. after 30 minutes of key cycling and starting attempts, she will start. sometimes starts rough, stumbles, then quickly clears up. other times starts like normal. after warm, no problems. if i let it sit though, its the same thing all over again. now i am getting two trouble codes. p0605 and p1663. p0605 comes up all the time. i can erase, and rerun koeo test on my snapon ethos, and p0605 will come right back. p1663 comes back after it sits for a while... i need some help!!! im at the point where i am disgusted to look at my truck when i walk into the garage. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

This is what I found....

KF1 DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P1663 — FDCS CIRCUIT FAILURE
DTC P1663 indicates that the PCM has detected a failure on the FDCS line.
Possible causes:
Open/short in FDCS circuit
Non-powered IDM
IDM
PCM
Check for other codes.
Key on, engine off.
Perform KOEO On-Demand Self Test and retrieve Continuous DTCs.

thats what i have seen so far also. the only continuous code is the p0605 on the koeo test. the p1663 code seems to be intermittent. how do i track down what the problem is? is it a communication error between the pcm and idm, or is it a bad idm? how do i tell? dont have a spare idm to slap in, and its not like a 20 buck item i can just buy as a spare!!! would this cause my cold start problem?

started it to move it out of the garage today, and i noticed if i leave the ignition on about 3-5 minutes after the wts light goes out, it will start. its 100 degrees today as well. checked glow plugs and all checked out. just food for thought.

ok so i have been brainstorming since yesterday, and was wondering if somehow the fuel system was possibly leaking down fuel pressure. would this cause the problem im having??? where do i hook up a gauge to check this? where could it be leaking down from, or could it leak back to the tank. i just think it is extremely odd that its fine once it is started.... and the shop keeps telling me it could be injector related or hpop, but nothing is pointing towards those having problems! hpop level is normal, no smoke when starting, runs and drives normal. im 1800 bucks into this now, and still havent found the problem. But on the bright side, i have two new batteries, new cables, new starter, new #8 injector, new ebp sensor and tube, and new drivers side injector harness!!!! IM LOSING MY MIND

by the way, all parts replaced were told to me to be THE PROBLEM by this diesel shop. not all at once, but in a series of four visits, and coming back with problems. im assuming they were wrong.
