Need some opinins.

I rebuilt a 7.3 out of a 2003 F350 with 499,xxx miles on it because #8 rings were stuck. Rebuilt the engine and had to get new heads for it. Put new injectors in, new hpop, and glow plugs. Used the old ICP and IPR. And the thing runs like a champ, dont have a chip or anything in it just intake and exhaust. But now, engine has a little over 1000 miles on it, getting a P1211(ICP pressure above or below desired) on hard acceleration. Do you think the IPR is sticking? It does have 500,xxx miles on it, or should I suspect a bad ICP? I dont have access to a scanner. Im thinking about taking the IPR out and taking it apart and cleaning it. Where would you guys go from here?

Well since cleaning the IPR is free, I would start there.
