NEED HELP! Engine noises started last night, now loud thumping

Last night after the fireworks i started my truck and hurt a weird rattle, like bolts were loose and shaking or something. it was on the driverside of the truck and sounded weird

i drove home and whenever id accelerate a little harder my engine would rumble bad...very strong

im sort of new to all this and im not sure whats going on..help!

were going to need a better description to try to help you explain the rumble and did it build ?did the motor miss? egts?

Get under your truck and try wiggiling the exhaust if you can hear light clinging noise try to stop it. this noise echos throgh the pipe and sounds ten times worse in the truck, it drove me nuts. i was checking everything for days untill i found that problem, you can feel it like it is under your feet too. just a thought to try. easy and doesnt cost a thing good luck.

ok. so its been a couple days now, and im gonna check more stuff this afternoon.

but its whenever i accelerate...the engine has a very low toned vibration. its just like the normal rattle of a diesel...but very loud and deep toned.

power levels and smoke seem to have decreased a little if any
EGTs, turbo and whatnot all seem normal
