Turbo questions (pics)

SO I ordered a rebuild kit for my turbo from Ron's (cool guy), well i pulled my turbo last night and this is what I found.

OIL!!! BLACK GOLD!!!





Here you can see how thick the oil is, or atleast what happens when you touch it.

Back side of the wheel


So Any idea what could be wrong ....or is this normal, every photo i have seen has a nice clean housing on it.

I'll be calling Ron today if I need to, just want some opinions from the ORG

Normal..coming from the engine valve cover vent..its inside the IC also.

I just rebuilt mine and put a wicker wheel in it. My turbo had oil all around the compressor side too. It come from the crank case vent.

Is there chips on the inducer part of the compressure wheel?
