stock boost? can i leave ebv unplugged?

I have a stock early 99 only has straight pipe how many lbs of boost should it have? Also can i run with the ebv unplugged?

Stock - you'll be lucky to get 20 psi at wide open throttle. You can leave the EBV unplugged if you are in a climate south of the Mason Dixon line (which your picture would indicate you are). It might set a code, which you can ignore, or get a terminator to fool the PCM that the EBV is still plugged in.
