IPR question ?
I have a 2001 350 when I start it cold sometimes it will start to
sputter and I give it a little fuel and it will smooth after about 30 seconds .
after it warms up it's ok . I am thinking the irp or o-rings are going bad .
I have hooked my scanner up to it the one time it stalled and was really hard to get restarted and it was coding no irp pressure .
The question I have is I have read that some are just replacing the o-rings with good results ? The cost seems a lots less , how good is this repair ?
I don't like doing a job several times . I have rescanned this truck several times and the irp code hasn't reappeared since the first time .
I run this truck daily and it only is a cold issue only .
