New part makes truck sputter "BAD"
I recently had to replace the thermo/water in fuel sensor on my early 99 250.
The part got hot and melted causing a big fuel leak... So I just put the new part on and the leak is fixed, but now I have a sputtering problem? Any ideas? My gooseneck needs me guys Thanks |

The only thing that comes to mind is you got air in the fuel rails - you may have to get out and drive it a little to clear it out. How long has it been happening?

It happned as soon as I put the new part on. I talked to a friend he said the same thing so I am going to drive it to try to remove the air.
Thanks |
