hpop leak wont go away!

alright i have a 99 7.3 i noticed its was leaking from the plug in the back of the hpop ive changed the o-ring with a "Viton" oring which is for high heat and oil and put a liquid thread sealant on the threads which works great for like 15 min then it starts leaking pretty bad from the o-ring? i didnt over tighten it and tear the oring so i have no idea why this keeps happening any help?

well after blowing out another o-ring last night i decided to try a copper washer seams to be working

no leaks

That is strange. Where did you find your orings at? Are you sure they are the right size?

That plug should take a #906 ORB o-ring.

If it still leaks, something strange is happening, like a twisted o-ring when its installed, or perhaps a ding or scratch in the o-ring land, causing it to leak by
