2001 7.3 check eng light

I have a 2001 f350 with a check eng lignt on and runs rough on accel
like it is not running on all 8. Any idea's

its probably gonna be the under valve cover harness on one bank or it could possible be a bad injector or two.....any codes in it????......Marc

are the injector conectors know to have conection problems ?
will have codes in a couple of hours

yes.....the under valve cover harness...where it plugs into the valve cover...is known to come disconnected after time and heat.....the actual injector and glow plug connectors arent the issue...it is the main connector at the valve cover itself....but on the backside so you have to pull the valve cover to see it.......Marc

sounds like you have it pinpointed, but it'll be good to run codes to rule out some other things...
