up pipe problem

I just put a new turbo on my 99 powerstroke and the y pipe in the back of the turbo is leaking. now what i need help on. is there sopost to be a gap between the turbo and the y pipe on the exhaust? i cant get the clamp on there good

no gap just pain in the rear, i found the method for me was to put y-pipe on turbo with donut gaskets and flanges and slip onto up-pipes, replace up pipes and donut gaskets about a $125 from ford.
