lope at idle

So some times at idle my truck will start loping. i dont have a lope tune on my ts chip. I just have the canned tunes. any idea what could be causing this? it used to happen on cold starts. but in the parking lot at the ski mountain this past weekend it was 50 degrees and it started doing it as i was idling out of the lot. If i hit the brakes and give it a little gas it will stop. just wondering if there is anything wrong with it. happens in stock to 140. heavier in 140 though.
thanks
Will

Mine would do the same thing. I changed to a thinner oil and it stopped the problem. There was a TSB about it which is where I got the idea to switch oils.

TSB= technical service bulletin

That's what the dealers issue when they find a common problem among there models
