Engine Rebuild Kit

I was wondering where the cheapest and most reliable place to buy a rebuild kit is. I can get it from Ford for $1300, is there anyone cheaper?

I've seen them on ebay for around a grand.

No I didnt blow it up, its an 03 with 500,000 on it and it had some stuck rings so I am rebuilding it.
