Wont start

Hello again, 99 7.3 will start, run like new for a couple of hours, start missing and dying, will start back up a few times and run like crap, then will quit wont even try to start, let it sit for a few days and it will start again, run for a couple of hours and quit again. Have changed fuel pump & filter,cps 3 times, icp sensor. Please help

It sounds like it is starving for fuel - which I suspect is why you replaced the pump and filter. I suspect your fuel pick up in the tank is clogging. The new ULSD fuel apparently eats away at the tank lining. The debris gets sucked up and clogs the in tank fuel pickup. After you let it sit for a while, the debris floats away, only to clog it up again when restarted.

When you drop your tank, make sure and clean or remove the filters that are in the "mixing" part of the fuel pick up assembly.
