OBD Code Help
Hey everyone,
Got some codes pulled on my truck today and need a little expertise. I get the SES light on hard acceleration, but after 10-15 minutes of normal driving, it goes off. When I haul my 5th wheel, the SES light is always on, but resets when I turn the truck off, until I drive again for a little while and it's back on. The codes I got were: 1211 ICP pressure above or below expected 1249 Wastagate Fail Steady State Test So here is my question. What exactly do these codes mean (in laymen's terms), and what could the cause or causes be? Are they serious, or just related to the programmer? Here is what I have: 2001 F350 7.3L Edge Juice with Attitude AFE stage II 4" turbo back exhaust Any help is much appreciated. |

the 1211 is for surre caused by the programmer, its ramps your icp pressure up to achieve high injection pressure (hence the above expected icp pressure code). the 1249 I am not 100% sure. how does tthe truck run when the light comes on?

I do know the higher the setting on my programmer, the quicker the light comes on, but even when I am set to "stock" the light will come on. |
