replaced GP reley and glow plugs
All, I have just replaced the GP reley and all 8 plugs, while in the dismantle mode I found the air intake tube that hooks up tp the turbo had a large 2 inch crack/hole whatever you want to call it. So I ordered a new one from Ford, put it all back together and went thru the process of starting the truck (will it start that hard everytime they are replaced) after all the oil burned off and the cylinders cleared up it misses. Any sugestions would be greatly appreicated.
I also replaced the 2 batteries |

If the only thing you did was replace the glow plugs (and relay) - the only source of a miss would have to be the valve cover harness. I think I would pull the valve cover - very carefully check each fuel injector connection, and then put the clips (or the quarter trick) into the under cover connection to make sure its tight, and make sure no wires got chaffed or loosened, and you should be good to go.
