Exclamation Air in fuel lines... hear it in pump

Never had a probelem at idle, or under load... last night i drove home, about 10 miles, 2 mins into the trip, she started missing, so i pulled over to look for leaks, drained the fuel bowl to check for water, couldnt find anything the ipc has a touch of oil in the pluck i blew it out and hooked it back up... limped it home, when i got home i was messing around looking for anything that made sense, the vacuum pump wont stop pumping, so i guess i have a leak but thats unimportant now, anyways after unhooking the pump, i could then hear that there is no fuel pump hum.... the search thing keeps error'n for me so i figured i would post it... i tried tappin the pump, but i have no idea the location of the relay, would like to check that before i lay in the 6 inches of snow to probe for wires at the pump, is there anything else that would make the pump not work? does it have its own internal pressure sensor or does it take a signal from the bowl??
thanks for anything you can throw at me

I also see there is something called a Fuel Pump Driver Module.... checked all fuses and relays, everything looks good, trying to think of anything else then buying a 150 dollar pump! havent heard of these things failing all to often

I think the '01 relay is located in the center of the dash, under the radio / behind the cup holder.

You could jump the relay there and feed 12v to the pump and if it didn't run then, and the wire/connector were good, I'd call the pump bad too.

pumps workn... its pulling air from somewhere by the tank... i have a filter inline before the pump so i undid the line right before the pump and ran a line to a 5 gal can of fuel... pump runs as it should no air... but it still seems like its fumble'n... maybe i gotta let it run longer to clear the injectors out if they got air or what not, i let it run for about a minute or so... any common fuel line problems? like on the top of the tank/ sending unit?? gotta find the leak so i can put it back together and drive it...

Just an idea, the pick up in my tank fell off once and it would suck air at about a quarter tank. Something to think about
