New to diesel, and i sprung a leak.

Hello, Im max and im know on the boards here.

Ive just purchased my first diesel a week ago. The truck itself is a 01' F350 crew cab with the 7.3, i noticed oil leaking after a couple of days of parking it in the same spot. The oil seems to be coming from the "v" shaped are inbetween the heads. Has anyone else expeirenced this problem that could help me narrow it down or possibly diagnose it?

-Thanks, Max

Could be high pressure oil lines, high pressure oil pump seals, or the gasket on the front of the high pressure oil pump where it mounts up.

I had the same exact thing and it was a fuel leak from the fuel filter.
