New to diesels, new to forum, new problems

Hey guys!
New Here and new to Diesels, Loving life already....kinda. I just purchased a 00 Ex with 127k miles and of course the 7.3L. It already had intake, exhaust, and a chip.....Edge Evo to be exact. I'm already well on my way to saving for a custom tune, I'm running it exclusively in stock for the time being. I was told by the previous owner that it throws codes because of the nature of the tuner. WEEEELLLL I have researched this a little bit and found that the codes that are being thrown are different (and not even listed that the edge knows what they are) than the codes that everyone else gets frequently. I'm getting all driver side GP codes the P0672-4-6-8 every other time I get in the truck. I have read that It might be a GPCM (ca truck) but want to find out whether or not this is an edge issue or a truck issue. I already had to do an alternator last week. This thing needs new shocks, an alignment, AND TIRES SOON. Just have to get my priorities straight and I can't let this thing die on me!!!

Alright, I have been scanning this site for days looking for something that might help, I think I may just buy a GPCM. I found them online for 125 bucks..... Does anyone recommend that I do something else before I change out this module? Is there a module for each side? or does one module control both banks of Plugs.
