Main & rod bolts after bearings, TTY - does anyone reuse or is new required

So I replaced my main bearings. And while reading my Haynes manual it states that you must use new Connecting Rod bolts when you replace the rod bearings. Like head bolts, these are TTY (torque to yield).

Is it really necessary to replace CR bolts, or mains for that matter? Or can these be reused and the torque bumped up a few extra lbs. Are these really one use only?

Just curious. Anyone have experience with these bolts? I know it is more critical for head bolts to be replaced when heads are removed, but bottom end is not affected by high compression or boost the same as valve-train

I broke 5 head bolts while doing head gaskets. Might want to go ahead and replace them if you got the money.
