Is #8 injector diff than 1-7 on early 99?

Just had cyl contribution test done #3 & #8 injectors are down i knew #3 was down but didnt know # 8 was. I keep hearing that #8 is diff on the late 99 and up but didnt know if it was on the early 99?

yes it's different, to try and deal with the 7.3 cackle i think. 3 and 8 i thought could be a result of iffy CPS....think i heard that somewhere

Different on all 7.3 powerstrokes due to cackle like stated above.

I had the cps recall done last wk and before they did it i had them do the cyl cont test #3 was only bad had him do it again today #3 &8 showed to be bad

ok all 3 parts stores i just called said early 99 all are same but late 99 & up 1-7 is diff than 8???????????????? Someone please help i am all confused now
