died while driving

after changing alt went to store on the way back it died wait to start lite not showing up but turns over fine all other lites are on turns not firing bad cps or no power to pcm if its the pcm with no power how would that happen also put knew batteries in same day any ideas.Please its my work truck i need it.

Maybe bad CPS. Maybe the fuel bowl heater shorted out blew it's fuse. Same one that powers the PCM.

Any idea where that fuse is at thanks for the fast reply i bought a knew cps but havent put it in yet.

thanks for the help when i find the problem i will come up to north branch and buy you a beer.it might be a fuse that powers the pcm where that is.

That fuse is probably under the hood on the drivers side fender.
