Losing power and boost
I'm losing boost bad. I have no leaks though. I think my EBPV is not working up to snuff as i can copnstantly hear a swishing sound like it is dumping boost. With my chip on the 50 and 75 HP settings the truck is very doggish and once would not climb above 55 on the 50hp setting. On the 100 and 140 settings the trucks runs better, but It will not even set off a check engine light for overboosting which it normally would always do. My top end HP is way down. Is there an easy way to circumvent this problem? This is the first winter thruck has ever been out of the garage and parked in the elements. Any help would be great.
Thanks, John |

I unplugged the EBPV i think, kind of underneath the turbo on the passenger side of the motor, It did well on the lower end but the top end is still a bit lack luster. I have to drive 150 mile this afternoon, I wil see how it does.

i had the same problem and it was a hardened vaccum line going to the boost tee. if ur not getting any boost i hope u have gauges because the egts will get really hot if ur standing on it to hard.
