Code Confusion No Run

2003 F350 PSD and shop put it on machine and it kicked out codes p0603 and p1316 now the shop is saying it needs an injector drive module and that it can only be programmed at a Ford dealership, is this so? Truck runs and acts like it is running on 4 cylinders instead of 8--no power, and emission icon is on, on the dash. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I would take valve cover off and make sure harness is connected to all injectors. these engines will vibrate the connectors loose. You have two harnesses, each harness controls four injectors, very common problem on 7.3 engine. make sure to trace harness to beginning and make sure connector is plugged there also. Check for free before paying overpriced service bills. please write back if you solve this. As for the codes, FORGET CODES they are seldom right.
