Truck won't start

2001 F350 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo diesel super duty 4X4
I replaced belt,batteries,alternator and truck clicks a few times and stops won't turn over but batteries read good(hand held volt meter) the battery light stays on even when I do get it to start. Any help would be wonderful.

check batt. connections and batt. cables for breaks

They all appear to be good replaced the driver side about 4 months ago

Starter was slightly loose but fixed it and no change
I tightened it before the new alternator and batteries

starter solenoid?

Check the field winding wires at the alternator ( the small wires that plug into the alternator )and connector also check the alternator fuse.
