Lost, Changed HPOP "O" rings, now it wont Start!

Changed O rings on the oil lines on the HPOP and now it wont start, was running fine, but now no go. Tired starting fluid, w/o GPR. Any ideas, been jacking with this for 2 days now. Pulled the lines off the pump, did not see a spring etc in the pump, nor did one come out, like it shows in the kit from Ford, (3 O rings and a very small tube of Loc tite= $30.00) must of been $1.50 worth of material.
