02 Excursion w/98k mile started acting up 2 weeks ago in cold weather late at night on way north from Houston to see family - changed fuel filter and all seemed to be ok, but we drove rest of the way in the day (warmer). We are still north and cold (10-20 degrees is cold to a Texan) and losing power on steep hills and won't maintain 70mph on flat roads. Seems to be getting worse.
The only code it's throwing is related to 2 glow plugs.
UPDATE: Diesel shop replaced #8 injector. But, she started losing power and stalled 15 miles from the shop. It's now back in the shop; I could use some guidance from people who really know the 7.3L. The local Ford dealer had no clue what the problem could be so I was hoping someone on here could give me some possibilities so I can discuss it with the diesel shop.
