Newbie Here with Possible Fuel system probs

Hey Yall, Im new to this site but have heard it is a good site for help and info. First off I have a 97F250 7.3L totally stock 5 speed with 151K on it. I bought this truck about a year and a half ago and have a problem I need help with.

No I don't have gauges, sorry I know its a big help and hopefully will get around to gauging the truck.

Ok this is what shes doing. As im driving she will act like she has a loss of fuel and my rpms will fly up and then drop really quick and my engine will cut out, sometimes enough to kill her. This doesnt happen all the times, just once in a great while (for instance on my way to work this morn). One of my buddies told me it could be a fuel sensor. Fresh filters havent made any difference. Any help with this I would greatly appreciate it. Besides this and a minor oil leak I love this truck. Any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe a CPS issue. Does it ever die and then be hard to start back? But if you give it a few, it fires right up?

its probably cps and if you want to try that i have an extra spare you can have, it was used for about 1000 miles then taken out to put in the better blue you saposidly but i havent noticed a differance. but if you want it let me know. im willing to put money down that its the cps censor, they are known to comanly fail. you can also get a new one off ebay or blackclouddiesel.com.
