shutting down abruptly

ok so i finally got to play a bit in the snow with the truck after working 60+ hrs straight plowing and such ... so when i was doing some donuts in an open uncleared lot i found after hitting some trails i was getting the truck going around 2500 rpms and spinning tires and doing donuts and kicking up a $hit ton of snow then i let out of it and the engine shut down started right back up and i tried to get out of where i was in 2wd and got the rpms pretty high again then let out and it shut down again ... so i started it back up and it cam right back on then i stopped skrewing around and put it in 4x4 and got the heck outta there nd home before i had any real issues with the truck ... so what do u think could have caused that?

Might try a new cam positioning sensor. If that dont fix it you might be looking at a fuel presure or high preasure oil regulating issue.

replaced the cps less than a year ago under warranty ... i was thinking it may have been starving it due to the hpop ... i was looking into an adrenaline soon anyways ... im not that concerned tho because it ran fine for the hour and a half ride home and i never bring it above 1750 rpms while driving so i highly doubt ill see that issue under normal driving conditions or much of any conditions considering i doubt im gonna see 22 inches of snow again any time soon lol but overall im now over worried just wanted to make sure it wasnt a precursor to major failures or anything
