Fuel Filter Change-Now Won't Start
That's pretty much the whole story! I changed out the fuel filter, cranked her over and I can't get her to start now. She's turning over OK, but I'm not getting any smoke out the back end. I'm thinking CPS, but looking for a little advice first (store is closed 'till tomorrow anyway).

drain the bowl again and check for pump is working. Also a shot to check the 30amp I think it was. something to do with the hookup in the bowl the fuel heater I think. maybe it got bumped or messed up some how. just throwing some suggestions out there.

Yeah, I think I'll check the 30 fuse too. After making that first post I went back out and checked a couple of things. I'm not seeing my "wait to start" light which leads me to think it may be that fuse.

OK, my #30 fuse was blown. I'm waiting for her to warm up while plugged in before I give her a try. I'll let you know.

If the fuse blows again, just unplug the heater.....International sells them for a bout 30 bucks IIRC

Yup, the fuse blew again. Are you talking about the block heater or the fuel bowl heater? I guess I'm wondering if something in the fuel bowl heater shorted out when I changed the fuel filter. Any suggestions anyone?

The fuel bowl heater. Don't know what happens with them, but they have been talked about before. Makes me be very careful when I'm changing my filter.

Pulled the plug on the fuel bowl heater and she fired right up! Thanks for all the help. I'm gonna spend a little time looking into whether I should replace the heater or not. It gets a mite chilly here in MT.
