engine cutting out?

ok so my truck has started to act up driving down the road it likes to just cut off but it cuts out then comes right back. im getting no check engine light and everything else seems normal. i had the cps recall done about a year and a half ago could this cps be going bad as well? i just got back from the gas station about 7 miles round trip and it cut out about 5 times..any ideas?
