Yet another oil leak

Hello,

I have a 2001 F350 CC 7.3 PSD. The truck has just over 40K miles on it and runs fine.

I recently had an Edge Juice and Attitude installed for use when I am hauling my camper. I never run it above setting number 3.

I noticed an oil leak that had started prior to installing the above items. About a 2" stain overnight. The place where I have my oil changed said "...rear main seal" but I doubt that.

Took it to the stealership that I bought it from and they complained about the chip. They kept asking me what boost I was running at. I told them to take it around the block and look at the handy digital gauge on the dash. They reported back "21 while driving" and I told them they were full of crap. I went and picked it up and watched the gauge which was reading anywhere from 2 to 4 under normal driving. I suspect what they saw was "2.1" on the display.

Anyway, they said that they couldn't determine what was leaking but told me that they didn't believe it was the HPOP o-rings. I don't know if I should believe them given their dismal understanding of the chip and boost reading.

Any suggestions on a good diesel mechanic in the Portland, Oregon area that would know what to look for?

Thanks, and sorry for the long post.

Get a flashlight and look directly under the turbo for oil running down from under it. You may need to climb on top of the engine to get to it, but it is a very common place to leak. I'm fixing to change my pedestal o-rings tonight. There is a drain hole in the rear of the valley under the turbo that lets oil run down and loks like a rear main leak.
